Mayday! Mayday! Madai is on a rescue mission for your love. Mission accomplished Madai! The talented and lovely sweetheart of millennium freestyle has captured the hearts of her adoring fans as was clearly evident by the literally thousand plus in attendance at the release of her song & video “Mayday”, that took place at the dynamite and energetic Club Play in South Beach. Hands down, Madai dominates the millennium freestyle spectrum in the City of Miami.
Madai is Pitbull’s Mr. 305′s artist. It was so heartwarming to see so many of the Mr. 305 group come out in a massive show of display of support for their phenomenal vocalist & performer. In essence, Mr. 305 did a splendid job in literally turning Club Play into “Madai World”.
Leading to the “Mayday” video reveal, footage clips from the video flashed continuously on three hi tech video screens, positioned in triangular form, Miami Arena style, atop the center of Club Play. The clips included a cameo by Tito Puente Jr., master timbalero, who was present this evening at the video premier. The flashing clips, coupled with three dynamic Djs spinning some of the most spectacular house dance & freestyle jams you could ever bounce to, planted an explosive energy seed. When the “Mayday” video & song actually played, one literally burst out in a pinnacle of dance music excitement a/k/a Madai!
“Mayday” is a commanding regal song. The lyrics hold up and the song’s chorus is instantly and infinitely adorable. The song possesses all the warmth, energy, pure emotion and accessibility that makes a song and video successful. The piece is an ecstatic freestyle serenade with a romantic twist, that possesses greatness in musical form. A definite standing ovation for Madai, the song writer, Michelle Trumpler, and director and producers of the video, Jean Pierre-Gautreaux and Gautreaux Films, which Music Miami had the honor and privilege of meeting at the video premier. A very talented group of individuals, who did a wonderful job on this video/song production. “Mayday”‘s video premier was a beyond definite triumph!
Post showing of the “Mayday” video the mood at the club was powerfully energetic, a great mood to set way to receive the young superstar, Madai, live on stage as she performed “Mayday” and other songs for her multitude of fans.
Madai’s voice resounded the forum, reached into the soul, and touched the listeners hearts. Madai has a golden richness to her vocal instrument that can only originate from the depth of the essential sweetness of this lovely & talented young singer. Basically, her vocals put out a genuine, solid techno sound, with a kitten like purr.
Madai’ style is reminiscent of a young Britney Spears, as she is also an outstanding on stage dancer and performer. She has a innocent purity to her, with a sexy edge. Her dance moves were effortless, with a subtle sensual twist.
Madai most certainly is on her way to super stardom.
